Upper Body Chest, Triceps & Abs Circuit

A Tri set is three exercises performed one after the other without rest in-between. They are good because they allow you to train several muscle groups in a shorter amount of time, while allowing each group to recover before working the other. Furthermore, we used this Tri-set to target the upper body more specifically chest, triceps and abs.

Maximize your training time, grab a medicine ball and give this workout a try.

  1. Medicine ball roll-out
  2. Medicine ball triceps push-ups
  3. Medicine ball single arm plank

Cues

With the medicine ball roll-out, slowly walk the ball in front of you until you are close to ground. Keep your abs tight and try not to extend your lower back.

The close grip push-ups keep you elbows in at all times. It is recommended to turn your hands outward so your fingers point towards the ground which will help you to balance. Drive the movement with your triceps and chest.

For the single arm plank keep your hips square, and body relatively straight.

Play around with the sets and reps to match your fitness level.
