Try this workout in order improve your explosive power and presence in your sport.

The Medicine ball rotational slams are working a lot of your upper body. They target your shoulders when you are moving the ball accross your body and your lats power the slam towards the ground. Your core has to stabilize your body throughout the exercise.

  1. Start in a kneeling position medicine ball on opposite side of your body
  2. lift the medicing overhead tranfering it over to the other side of your body
  3. slam the ball as hard as you can towards the ground

Depth jumps are an amazing exercise for improving  your explosive power and vertical! It is very important to utilize the stretch reflex and jump as soon as your feet touch the ground. If you absorb the force then jump you are taking away from the point of the exercise and making it less effective.

  1. Step off of a box
  2. As soon as both of your feet touch the ground jump straight up
