United States, Canada & Mexico Make a Joint Bid To Host The World Cup 2026!

The United States, Canada and Mexico have made a joint bid to host the World Cup 2026.

If Successful this will be the first time the tournament is shared by three hosts. Additionally, it will be the first world cup to include the expansion from 32 teams to 48.

The split in games will have USA hosting 60 games. Canada and Mexico will both host 10 each. We will have to wait untill 2020 to find out the final decision.

USA has hosted the tournament before in 1994, creating record attendance ratings. Furthermore, Mexico has hosted the tournament twice in 1970 and 1986. Although Canada has hosted the Women’s World Cup, it will be there first time hosting the men’s tournament.
