We have you covered. Here are 5 bodyweight exercises you can do which will hit each major muscle group in your body.

1.Squat

Known as the king of exercises, this will target your legs, primarily your quads, hamstrings and gluteus. You can make it harder by slowing down the negative portion of your squat (lowering towards the ground). This will add more time under tension. Next, you can also add in a more explosive element to your squat by doing jump squats.

2. Pushups

Primary muscle being worked is your chest, secondary muscles include triceps and your anterior delts.

3. Pull-ups

Pull-ups is a great way to target your back. Primary muscles being worked are your lats.  You can use a closer grip to target your biceps. If you can’t do pull-ups you can do assisted pull-ups with a jump stretch band.

4.Pike Pushups

This is a good way to work your shoulders specifically your anterior delts.

5. Plank

Plank is a great way to target your abs because it works your abs in a functional manner. The function of your abs is to stabilize your body. The plank help to strengthen your abs while you are stabilising your body.
