49ers To Release LB Reuben Foster

Reuben Foster will be released by the San Francisco 49ers after he was recently arrested Saturday night. The arrest took place at their team hotel on a charge of a misdemeanor domestic violence.

The Arrest Report

The report came from Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office saying he was arrested Saturday at the Grand Hyatt hotel 9:10 pm in Tampa. He was placed in jail two hours later. Bond was set at $2000 during a bail hearing Sunday Morning. Reuben Foster was released on bond Sunday afternoon.

This is not the first time Foster has had a run in with the law. Niners general manager John Lynch and coach Kyle Shanahan stood by Foster after the previous domestic charge which took place during the off season. Furthermore, they set standards and Foster seemed to have broken them again which is leading to his release.
