Today we are looking at box split jumps. This is going to work the majority of muscles in your lower body and help to improve strength and explosive power.
This exercise is beneficial to athletes which utilize quick acceleration and reaction abilities.
- Position one foot on the box, ideally chose a height where your thigh is parallel to the ground.
- Push off your front leg, exploding vertically into the air.
- Drive your arms to create momentum in unison with your legs.
- React Quickly off of the box
