In this edition of the Check My Athletics Training Series we incorporate a bosu ball with a burpee. As seen in the video below the bosu ball adds an extra component of stability to the exercise. You are forced to greater engage your abs and stabilizers in your shoulders to support your body while holding the bosu ball.
Bosu ball’s are a great tool which can be used to enhance many exercises. It will help athlete’s to improve their balance, flexibility and stability.
Examples of other exercises you can incorporate a bosu ball include:
- squats
- lunges
- step ups
- push-ups
- plank
Don’t get stuck in the same routine, use tools like the bosu ball to add variety to your workouts.
