What are the top fitness products to help you work, and strengthen you abdominal muscles?
Sometimes you want to go past some of the great typical bodyweight exercise like plank, and birdog. Here is some great equipment you can purchase to take you abdominal training to the next level.
- Fitness Ab Carver
This is a popular roller also called ab wheel. It has a little rolling wheel with comfortable to grip handles on the end. The Ab Carver Pro requires a great amount of coordination, strength and stabilization from your lower back. It’s a great way to target multiple muscles in the core region focusing on the abdominals.
The Perfect Fitness Ab Carver Pro has a carbon steel spring providing resistance when rolling the wheel out and assistance bringing it back in.
This is a highly recommended tool.
2. Cheaper Alternative
This roller is about half the price. You will get similar results in terms of the movement and abdominal core activation. The quality of the material is a little cheaper than the ab wheel seen above, but will still get the trick done.
3. Stamina Pro Ab/Hyper Bench
Here is a multi use bench where you can do one of my favourite exercises for core stability and strength. This would be a great addition to any home gym.
You can use it for Glute/Ham raises where the primary movers are your glutes and hamstrings but it requires a great amount of core stabilization as-well.
